I have been fortunate to be in this wonderful industry for 35 years and the owner of jacou for 28 years.

What you love about hairdressing?
Our industry is always changing as are my client’s needs. This keeps me motivated to seek out the very best education for my team and for myself. I love that I never stop learning!

What do you feel your strengths are as a stylist?
My strengths are consultation, cutting and color. I believe a great look starts with a thorough consultation. I love to help clients with their hair problems and am able to match clients with one of the jacou team member specialists that will best suit their needs. I understand the busy, time-poor woman and the need to create low maintenance cuts and colors that look amazing and suit the individual. I like to discuss and form a maintenance routine to suit your lifestyle. I have extensive experience with all hair types from fine to thick, long and super short, curly or straight. I love to evolve my client’s looks with each visit and I am not afraid to push the boundaries. 

What do you love doing when you’re not at jacou?
When not at work I love spending time with my family. We love the outdoors and enjoy walking, skiing, horse riding and holidays at the beach

What you love about hairdressing?  
I love that I get to work in a creative industry and being part of team environment.

What do you feel your strengths are as a stylist?
My focus is my client when they sit in my chair. I always start with a good consultation to understand your hair and any concerns you may have.
Precision cutting for men and women is what I excel at. I love to finish and personalise my client’s haircuts to achieve the perfect look consequently I have a pair of scissors for every hair type! I love how color transform’s the overall look when combined with a beautiful haircut.

What do you love doing when you’re not at jacou?
I really love being with my husband and my girls who are growing up way too quickly. I love morning walks, coffee with friends, Sunday soccer games and cooking when I get the time.

Tara

Length of time at salon:
13 years – I began my hairdressing career at jacou!

What you love about hairdressing?
I love making people feel good about themselves and to be able to achieve the look that they present to me in consultation.
Nothing compares to the smile and happiness from a client at the end of their hair service.
I love colours, especially blondes and also the challenge of a color correction. Having extensive knowledge in color I am focussed on delivering what I promise without compromising the hair condition in the process.
I enjoy being able to educate my clients on products and how to get the best out of their colour and style at home.
The amazing clients I have had over the years at jacou are what really keep me loving my job!

What do you feel your strengths are as a stylist?
I am a blonde specialist and I know how to achieve the perfect blonde from a full head bleach to foils to color correction.

 What do you love doing when you’re not at jacou?
I love spending time with my kids and family! And who doesn’t like a bit of online shopping.

Vicky

What you love about hairdressing?
I love being creative and making people look and feel their best!

What do you feel your strengths are as a stylist?
I love every aspect of hairdressing and combining cut and color for the majority of my clients.
Precision cutting for men and women is my strength. Curly hair is another favourite of mine, having naturally curly hair I love to educate clients how to tame their curls. Anyone with curly hair knows it’s all about the cut. I am the original curly girl :)
I am a great listener and will take the time to understand your hair goals and have the patience to see it through. I also hold a certificate in trichology. I am very interested in problems of the hair and scalp and I love to help people who have concerns in these areas.

Spending time with family and friends
